Bimmerfest billed as celebration being BMW enthusiast – most it is simply world’s largest BMW event held North America. After starting as a small get-together at a BMW dealership Santa Barbara just over a decade ago, show has outgrown all its venues… until now. The 2010 show, its 11th annual event, was held at Rose Bowl Pasadena this weekend. Thanks strong online forum support Bimmerfest, this year’s show was packed with thousands of BMW models covering decades of production dozens of vendors peddling accessories. If you have Roundel your hood, it’s worth the trip (some drove from as far as Alaska Florida just to attend).

The best part Bimmerfest – the reason we enjoy the show so much – that nearly every single BMW at the show privately owned. Sure, BMW North America brought some cars to display (among them an X6 M 7 Series Alpina ʛ), the diversity customization the owned cars meant no two were alike. We weaved our way through hundreds freshly detailed 3 Series 5 Series models find dozens real gems. Our favorites included race-bred ᬒ M3 models, sweet BMW Z8, and rare BMW 850CSi six-speed manual.
