Chrysler has decided to move the owner’s manual the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee out the paper world into the ethereal realm the iPhone App. According company, users will have access all standard vehicle system information they’re used to, will also able view videos special vehicle features, connect other Grand Cherokee owners across country and Chrysler will also able receive user feedback through number social media connections.
The cool part that the app free to anyone. You don’t have to own Grand Cherokee or lay down any of your hard earned cash you’re curious about the vehicle. At first, the app will only available for the iPhone iPod Touch, but will eventually crop up on Blackberry Android platforms as well. We’re little curious to see the SUVs will still available with hardcopy manuals, or the company will forego paper all together. If it does, what happens 10 years when the current generation of smart phones all relics? A whole population of second-hand Grand Cherokee owners may never know what their FCW OFF light means.
